Arts and science project "Presente Continuo"

Artists Juan Sorrentino and Céline Manz are the two selected artists for the Connect Argentina dual residency (Image: CERN)

Presente Continuo is an Arts & Science Program by the Bunge and Born Foundation and the Williams Foundation. Argentinian artist Juan Sorrentino and Swiss artist Céline Manz were selected to undertake a shared residency split between CERN and the Pierre Auger Observatory.
The artists will stay at the Observatory during the Collaboration Meeting in November. They will be introduced to the Collaboration, and get the opportunity to learn about the observatory on site, cultivating new artistic perspectives through engagement with the Auger research community.

Connect Argentina is part of a collaboration agreement between Arts at CERN and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia. It is organized by the regional office of Pro Helvetia in South America and the Presente Continuo Program – Art, Science and Technology of the Bunge and Born Foundation and Williams Foundation; with the participation of Pierre Auger Observatory as a scientific partner in the country.
