Auger Impact Award 2025

The Auger Impact Awards 2025 go to Collaborators Marcos Cerda and Emanuele De Vito.

2024 11 impact award

We congratulate our colleagues Marcos Cerda (Staff Pierre Auger Observatory, Argentina) and Emanuele De Vito (Università del Salento and INFN Lecce, Italy) on receiving the Auger Impact Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions towards the objectives of the Auger Observatory.

We are pleased to present this award to

  • Marcos Cerda, who played a crucial role in the successful deployment of the radio detector, supporting the project throughout its R&D phase and ensuring its successful commissioning. He acted as a proactive bridge between the Malargüe staff and the scientists.
  • Emanuele De Vito, who demonstrated a strong commitment to producing service work for the collaboration, both technically and in terms of analysis in the context of the MM task. He played a key role in the process of migrating Auger data from the CC in Lyon to the INFN-CNAF data center in Bologna.
