We congratulate our colleagues Eva dos Santos (Prague) and Jorge Ruben Rodriguez (Pierre Auger Observatory) on receiving the Auger Impact Award 2023 for their outstanding contributions towards the objectives of the Auger Observatory.
The award goes to Eva dos Santos in recognition of her outstanding efforts on simulation coordination, which have a tremendous impact on the results published by the observatory but is not necessarily visible, and for her extremely responsive and service oriented attitude.
Jorge Ruben Rodriguez receives the award for 20 years of remarkable devotion to the operations and maintenance of the atmospheric monitoring systems and for his restless dedication to the FD coordination during the long emergency phase.
