We are very pleased to inform you that the City of Malargüe has passed a resolution (2362/2025) by which two streets of Malargüe have been named in honour of our colleagues Alan Watson and David Nitz (see here the streets on google maps), recognizing their contribution and personal support to the development of the city. Both streets frame Science Boulevard in the very nice and new Procrear neighborhood. They were originally somewhat unimaginatively or provisionally both labeled Calle 598.
To officially announce this great news, Mayor Celso Jaque welcomed Dr. David Nitz and his wife to the Municipality of Malargüe on January 6, 2026.
